After researching many villas, this was my villa of choice for several reasons. We were a family with our 2 adult children and partners in their 20’s. All 3 bedrooms were to an excellent standard, I didn’t want one couple to have a box room or sofa bed - they all were equally tasteful, spacious, comfortable and with excellent en-suites. The most impressive part of the villa was the view from the pool area, both day and night - it was spectacular. It was also such a pretty villa, it had been rebuilt with such thought and finished with great taste. Our host was fantastic, she meet us on arrival with a welcome hamper, was on hand with advice, recommended an incredible boat trip and booked a fabulous restaurant for us, she even delivered amazing cakes as a mid stay treat! The location had something for everyone- old town, marina and bay were perfect, lots of great restaurants, safe swimming and water sports. The mountain top skywalk and drive was incredible and shell museum worth visiting

Just come back from our beautiful stay at Villa Montes. It's super pretty and we were greeted by Zorana who was very friendly and amazingly helpful. The design of the villa is exceptional. It's the perfect size - 4 of us stayed but it could have slept 6. It was very clean and has lots of amenties - in fact everything was thought of! The outside area is gorgeous and cleverly you can acceess the terrace and pool area without having to go downstairs through the rest of the villa. My only comment was that it is slightly overlooked and we did hear quite lot of sound from one of houses above the villa - this didn't stop our enjoyment. It's perfect for watching the incredible sunsets. The water was a bit cold for everyday swimming but we were there at the end of the season so I suspect the temperature had fallen a couple of degrees from the height of summer. Zorana managed to deal with this for us midway through the week and the pool was very swimmable towards the end. Zorana was the best!

Stunning villa with the most incredible views we’ve ever had. Pictures don’t do it justice. Communication from host was also excellent. Taxi / car is necessary to harbour. Would love to return!

WOW! We are fortunate that we have travelled the world, stayed in various villas in different countries and many 5* hotels, and we can honestly say that Villa Montes is by far the BEST villa we have ever stayed in. And Sanja was by FAR the BEST host. The villa is beautifully decorated, every detail thought of. It was spotlessly clean & smelt of lemons. The linen & towels smelt like washing powder. The fridge was left stocked with milk, bread, cheese and butter, cans of drink & wine. A fresh fruit bowl on the table. Lots of toilet rolls, dish washer tablets, washing powder... the list goes on. Why does every Airbnb host not do this? It makes SUCH a difference. Sanja and her daughter were there to meet us with open arms. And Sanja even booked a restaurant reservation for us in Markarska for our first evening. Obviously the best thing of all - the view. WOW again. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!!! The Sunsets are the best i've ever seen. An unforgettable stay. THANK YOU.
